One thing we found out, though, is that he typically specializes in formal events, which means he may not be the right fit for casual gatherings like birthday parties.

Rob Haddon discovered magic as a child watching Mark Wilson on Saturday mornings on television. He began practicing and delivering shows in his garage for friends and neighbors, charging a small admission fee.

Those humble backyard performances sparked what would become a lifelong career. And today, he’s been in the magic industry for over two decades.

What really hooked us is his ability to execute various acts, from sleight-of-hand and mind-reading tricks to hypnotism. He’s like the Four Horsemen in one body (if you watched Now You See Me, you know what I’m talking about).

His professionalism extends beyond the stage as well. Most people love that he offers a free virtual consultation, which makes things much faster compared to sending emails back and forth.

Just take note that he only performs at private events, such as family and corporate parties, so you’ll need a different magician if you’re organizing a public or community festival.

Alan has over 16 years of professional experience and was named “Best Dallas Magician” by NBC. He has been featured in D Magazine, which described him as “a wildly engaging magician and mentalist.”

That engagement comes naturally. Most of his plays are highly interactive, always making his audience the star of the show by inviting them on stage to be active participants.

Several people we spoke to applauded his clean humor. Unlike some magicians, he doesn’t crack jokes on things that might upset some guests, such as racial, political, or off-color banters.

Apart from his skill set, we were amazed to discover that he carries a million-dollar public liability insurance. This is especially reassuring given that his acts are heavily reliant on patron involvement.

That said, he mostly performs at corporate events and doesn’t accept other types of gigs.
