Top 5 Coworking Spaces in Dallas Homepage

Top 9 Coworking Spaces in Dallas

By: Olivia Wilkinson

Criteria and Considerations

Convenient Location – We looked for office spaces that were accessible to both public and private vehicles. We also considered the availability of parking lots and bus stops in the area.
Pricing – We looked for coworking spaces that offered hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly terms. This provides clients with more flexibility in terms of costs.
Free Facilities and Services – We chose coworking spaces that offered free facilities and services, e.g., internet, printing, copying, pantry (coffee & snacks), etc.
Flexibility – We looked for coworking spaces that didn’t tie you down to a single area in the office. Instead, you can roam the space freely to look for areas where you feel like you can perform better work.
Privacy – Some clients prefer their peace and quiet – we looked for office spaces that offered both shared and private spaces to meet varying client needs.

Pros

  • Daily and monthly passes
  • Clean and open working spaces
  • Free coffee, beer, and printing services
  • Fast speed internet

Cons

  • Can be noisy at times
  • Limited parking spaces
  • Closed on weekends

Common Desk is one of the nicest coworking places we’ve seen so far. They have a variety of amenities inside the space, including a coffee machine, a beer dispenser, printing/copying services, and fast speed internet.

We love the interior design of the offices. They look clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing.

You won’t feel distracted by clutter or other things in your area. Additionally, you get to enjoy natural light from the floor to ceiling windows.

You can get daily and monthly passes which allow you access to their services and amenities. There’s also the option to extend the terms of your lease – but you’ll have to talk to the company to do that.

Noise is very minimal in the area; however, since the place is quite near the road, the occasional horn will be heard from time to time.

If you’re worried about being tied to a single desk your entire stay, don’t be. The “Shared Desk” pass allows you to switch desks when needed.

So, you can accommodate whichever direction your creativity takes you.

Parking can be a little tricky to find. Slots are quite limited, so unless you come early you might not be able to park your car close to the office.

On the bright side, public transportation has untroubled access to the area. If you don’t want to travel with your care, you can take the bus to the coworking space.

Pros

  • Free coffee, wine, and beer
  • Fast internet
  • Daycare center for clients with kids
  • Virtual office space

Cons

  • Only offers monthly passes
  • Closed on weekends
  • Limited parking spaces

If you’re looking for a coworking space with lots of creative energy, GeniusDen is the place for you.

They have various services and amenities that make your time with them worthwhile. This includes clean desks, break out meeting lounges, copying/printing services, and fast speed internet.

You can enjoy free coffee, beer, and wine in their pantry. There are also some snacks available for you to eat while you work.

For parents who need extra hands to help them with their kids, you can drop them off at the daycare center inside the coworking space.

Rates for spaces range between $50 to $2,000. This is paid monthly only (unfortunately), so if that’s not the most convenient arrangement for you, perhaps look for a different provider.

Parking can be a little tricky to find, as the company is situated along the main road. If you come early enough, though, you might be able to park out front.

The area is also accessible to public transportation. So, if you want to take the bus to work, you can definitely do that.

GeniusDen can accommodate drop-in clients. Make sure to call ahead to confirm availability.

You don’t want to waste a trip to their office only to end up without a place to stay.

Pros

  • Daily, monthly, and yearly passes
  • Free coffee and fast internet
  • Podcast, video, and photo studios
  • Quiet and inspiring environment
  • Parking available

Cons

  • Landline is difficult to contact

If you’re looking for a coworking space where you can rent space for a day, a month, or a year, The Slate is the coworking space for you.

They have a variety of spaces for rent, including a video, podcast, and photo studio.

Their space is unlike any coworking spaces we’ve seen. This is because their amenities are aimed to accommodate the needs of creators more than anything.

Most coworking spaces only offer desks, fast internet, and free coffee. At The Slate, you get all that, plus other things that make your time with them more worthwhile.

The environment is really quiet, making it a great place for focus and deep work. We also appreciate the natural lighting that keeps the place looking bright.

Everything is clean and organized down to the very last thread on their rugs. The coffee is also delicious, which is a big plus in our book.

There are parking spaces outside so those who drive to The Slate won’t have to park too far from the office.

You can also take public transportation to reach the office. You’ll need to walk a few feet from the bus stop to the office space.

Walk-ins are welcome in The Slate but in our experience, it’s always better to book a pass. That way you’re sure to get a desk space for your stay.

Pros

  • Value-packed service packages
  • Unlimited coffee, beer on tap, and fast internet
  • Dedicated parking space for clients

Cons

  • Confusing office layout
  • Slightly noisy environment
  • No daily or yearly subscription

City Central has about everything you’d be looking for from a coworking space. They have unlimited free coffee, beer on tap, and a fast internet connection – which creatives working on videos will appreciate.

They have dedicated parking spaces for clients. You can also reach their office by bus, if you don’t drive a vehicle.

Everything is clean and pristine. However, we do find the layout of the place a little confusing.

There aren’t any signs telling you where you are, i.e., in the coworking area, private arena etc. It would be nice if they added labels on hallways and rooms.

We believe this will help clients navigate the space better.

They only offer monthly rental terms to clients. So, if you’re looking for daily rentals, you’ll have to try another provider.

Noise is very minimal; it doesn’t get in the way of work. However, it can still be a little distracting for some people.

This coworking space is perfect for people who are looking for long-term rentals. They offer great packages for clients, so you better check them out when you can.
