Royal Oaks Country Club is a well-known club in the heart of Dallas. It’s known to take care of its members with its beautiful facilities, excellent staff, and overall prestige.
One step inside the club and you’ll be blown away by how gorgeous the facilities and overall place are. There’s an air of prestige about the place that simply takes your breath away.
Greeting you is its experienced and professional staff. Even we non-members felt welcomed as they showed us around the club and its facilities.
We also noticed it has tennis instructors teaching people of all ages. This is a great way to learn a new hobby or even just meet new people.
Everything about the place was vibrant and we realized it was due to how well-maintained and clean everything was. We never once encountered litter, the bathrooms were immaculate, and the grass was healthy and alive.
The food served was mind-blowing, as well. Choosing what to order was a chore simply because everything looked amazing–what a problem to have!
However, like most clubs, they cater more to members than non-members. Frequent non-members we talked to mentioned there were times they felt neglected especially if an event was ongoing.
2. Dallas Country Club
Services: Bar area, lounge, social activities, fundraising dinners
Dallas Country Club is a place straight out of a movie. It’s a gorgeous place that’s perfect for meeting new people, having lunch with family, and just having fun with friends.
Perhaps the first thing you’ll notice once you’re in this club’s area is the facilities. The almost vintage European design of the clubs is absolutely stunning and is quite a sight to behold.
Inside is all the same, it houses breathtaking furniture and a homey vibe that screams “family vacation!”. You’re also greeted by the staff, all of which are experienced and accommodating.
The most common things members and non-members loves are the food and bar. The club serves an amazing array of dining options, while the bar emits a lively aura perfect for meeting new people.
Members echoed the sentiment as they mentioned meeting loads of amazing people inside.
They said being in a place as beautiful and romantic as the Dallas Country Club has a calming effect that seemingly takes the edge away from everyone.
And while it does hold events and activities, we wish it would do so more often. The lack of social activities outside of dining and drinking hurts the club’s reputation for meeting new people a teensy bit.
3. Dallas Athletic Club
Services: Youth activities, aquatics, fitness, dining, member events
Address: 4111 Dallas Athletic Club Dr, Dallas, TX 75228, United States
If you’re looking for a way to go out and meet new people while enjoying physical activity, then the Dallas Athletic Club’s waiting for you.
This place is one of the most well-known clubs in Dallas as its events and activities are loads of fun!
The club itself has a different feel from other country clubs in Dallas. Because of the activities and events, it almost feels like a combination of summer camp and a college campus.
From youth activities to aquatics and sports, the club is filled with exciting activities perfect for those looking to get into fitness while meeting new people.
Personally, we absolutely adore the swimming pools and aquatic activities it offers.
And if you’re worried about the cleanliness of the facilities due to the nature of the activities, don’t fret as they maintain each facility every day! For example, the water in the pools is clear and pristine.
We also commend its excellent staff as they were professional, helpful, and experienced. New members talk about how much the staff helped when it came to easing them into the club.
But like most country clubs, they prioritize the members a whole lot more than non-members. It’s a slight turnoff for some, but it’s totally understandable.
The Dallas Athletic Club remains to be one of the go-to’s in Dallas. This is in large part thanks to its fun activities, excellent staff, and overall appeal.
If you’re looking for a prestigious award-winning club to join, then The Clubs of Prestonwood is waiting for you. It’s an exclusive club in Dallas known for its facilities and clubhouses.
This club features a golf-course that’s hosted some of the most memorable tournaments in the country. In fact, a popular golfing website called the Avid Golfer named it one of the best country clubs in the DFW.
And if you’re not too into golf, it also offers fitness centers. Some members even complimented the equipment the centers have as some of the best in the state of Texas.
Additionally, the clubhouses it has are outstanding and worth the hefty price of admission. It has everything you could possibly want and need, and even that feels like an undersell.
We also commend how professional and well-mannered the staff is. They gave us a tour of the clubhouses, golf course, and all the other facilities as if we were members.
Furthermore, the club house also hosts events such as weddings, company events, or family vacation, allowing you to share this gorgeous place with the ones you love.
One thing we dislike about it, however, is the lack of club activities/events it offers. For a prestigious club, we felt as though it could’ve added some more to its social calendar.
But, don’t let that distract you from the fact that The Clubs of Prestonwood is one of the best country clubs in Dallas. We highly recommend checking it out.
