Not too long ago, my cousin learned the hard way that DIY party planning isn’t for everyone. Her simple backyard gathering for her 30th birthday was a disaster—the catering ran an hour late, and half the folding chairs didn’t arrive.
While we can laugh about it now, that event was all the proof I needed that some things are better left to professionals.
Determined not to repeat her mistakes, I teamed up with my colleagues to track down the best party planners in Dallas. We assessed multiple organizers and interviewed some of their satisfied clients.

Pop Parties was founded in 2015 and operates as an event planning and design firm. They brand themselves as offering “Chief Experience Officer” services, combining business-minded processes with creative execution.
With decades of experience comes their expertise in planning a wide range of events, from weddings and social gatherings to corporate get-togethers.
For implementation, you have the option to hire them fully, partially, or even weeks before to organize your upcoming party.
Beyond event planning, numerous people commended the company for their custom stationery services. They can make personalized invitation cards, monograms, cocktail napkins, and thank-you notes in-house.
However, some previous clients, especially couples, said that the firm’s approach is overly corporate, which isn’t ideal if you want to add a personal, creative touch in some aspects of your function.

Double Blessing Events is owned by identical twin sisters Danae and Chelsey. The company has been in the event planning industry since 2013, and has collectively planned and executed over 300 weddings.
They specialize in Christian wedding planning and coordination, with a faith-based approach that emphasizes preparing not just the wedding day, but also the couple’s hearts for marriage.
To help soon-to-be husbands and wives with various budgets, they offer multiple packages, from partial and full planning to wedding coordination services.
What most previous clients loved most was that the firm provided video consultations, giving convenience to those with tight schedules.
That said, we discovered that they only accept a limited number of clients per year.

Significant Events of Texas has been providing event planning services since 2010.
Specifically, the company offers a full-service package, partial planning, day-of coordination, and a la carte event sourcing. This makes them one of the few firms that provide comprehensive options.
As impressive as their offerings are, they handle an extensive range of celebrations, from weddings and charitable events to corporate and social gatherings.
In addition to party planning packages, we also love their invitations and graphic design services. They make custom logos and branding for all the occasions they manage.
However, due to their popularity, some people we spoke to said that they couldn’t secure a slot, which led them to find another planner.

From what we’ve gathered, the firm provides extensive options for weddings, from partial and full planning to quarter and month-of implementation.
What sets them apart is their strong client advocacy. Most clients admired the team for taking the lead on contract negotiations—providing strategic advice to ensure every decision aligned with their vision and budget.
That said, they’re a relatively small firm with capacity constraints during peak season.

Before anything else, the firm provides a complimentary consultation to get to know your needs. This helps a lot in determining if they’re the right fit for your upcoming event.
But some people found the initial discussion overwhelming due to the options presented to them all at once.
