If you’re dealing with water damage, they use advanced gear to detect and eliminate moisture you can’t even see. For fire damage, their air scrubbers and extractors clear out smoke and odors—then, they deep clean soot from every nook and cranny.

Afterward, they’ll restore and rebuild affected areas, too. Hardwood floors, sewage, ceiling repairs—you name it.

Other perks include flexible payment options, insurance assistance, and even a 2-year warranty. These extras definitely help make their customers feel fully supported.

Texas Disaster Restoration is a family-owned business that has been around since 2010. Their goal is to provide that personal touch small companies are known for, while offering the rapid response you’d expect from a big-name business.

And they’re rapid, all right. Unlike other companies that might take a couple of hours, they can get anywhere in the Dallas-Fort Worth area within 45 to 60 minutes.

Their certified technicians use top-tier tech for water and flood damage, including fast drying systems and mold prevention methods.

Fire and smoke cleanup is just as thorough. They use dehumidifiers, ultrasonic cleaning, and ODEL technology for salvaging electronics.

They even store your stuff off-site, complete with digital inventory tracking.

Just a heads up, though—some customers have mentioned that quotes weren’t always honored. We recommend confirming everything in writing before work begins.

SERVPRO started as a humble painting business created by a husband-and-wife team in 1967. They soon shifted into restoration and cleaning, eventually building one of the biggest franchises in the disaster recovery industry.

After coming up with a plan, they clear up debris, board up damaged areas (if needed), and relocate your belongings safely. 

Then, they get your space dry and livable again by removing soot and smoke odor (for fire damage), as well as drying and water removal. 

As a bonus, they’ll even help with the insurance claim process. But be forewarned, we heard complaints about customers being surprised by fees they thought were covered.

Home Recovery Solutions has been showing up for local homeowners in the DFW area for over 18 years. 

They’re available 24/7 and promise to be at your door in under an hour. This is huge when you’re dealing with a water or fire emergency.

Water remediation is offered, from inspection and fast water removal to drying, dehumidifying, cleaning, and restoration. Their fire damage process is equally thorough, with emergency board-ups, soot removal, and deep cleaning.

A unique highlight they offer is their Hazardous Material Abatement service, led by licensed lead and asbestos contractors. They’ll carefully contain and clean the area to avoid spreading anything nasty through your space.

While their field crew gets a lot of love for being quick and efficient, we heard a few complaints about their less-than-friendly customer service over the phone.
