Good Shepherd Episcopal School has been around since 1945, making them one of the oldest preschools we have on this list. They have a wide variety of programs for children of all ages – including little preschoolers. 

We love this place for its expansive grounds and high-quality facilities. Children can safely explore their interests both indoors and outdoors, under the guidance of highly skilled preschool instructors. 

Children need to get an equal dose of play and academic activities. The great thing about Good Shepherd’s program is that it gives children exactly what they need to ensure effective development. 

Class sizes are kept to a minimum, so students can get the most out of their time at preschool. This also makes it easier for instructors to give each child equal amounts of attention and assistance. 

Good Shepherd has two preschool programs: Full Day PreK and Early Release PreK. Here, they get to enjoy student-centered teaching and hands-on learning in a creative and safe environment.

Based on our evaluations, their programs are carefully designed by childcare excerpts to ensure positive results. It’s one of the reasons why parents love this preschool and prefer their services over everyone else.

We absolutely adore how the teachers here treat their students. You can see that they deeply care for everyone in class and go above and beyond to guide the children to brighter futures. 

Apart from academic topics, children can also enjoy other extracurriculars at Cadence Academy Preschool. This includes computer sciences, happy feet, and tumble gym. 

All that said, Cadence Academy Preschool doesn’t come without its flaws. 

The school had recently changed management. And while this meant advancements in their curriculum, it unfortunately also meant that the teachers were less friendly than before. 

According to multiple complaints from concerned mothers, many of them felt ignored and avoided at school, especially when they were trying to pose an issue. 

We suggest you schedule a visit to the preschool and get a feel of the environment before making a full commitment. 

Montessori Children’s House and School was founded in 1970, and while they’re not exactly the “talk of the town,” they do offer one of the best preschool programs that we’ve seen so far. This may be due to their years of experience in the industry. 

They have programs that are designed to develop your little one’s motor skills and coordination. Not just that, they can also help your child be more creative, adventurous, and confident. 

Every parent wants what’s best for their child, so you’ll be glad to know that Montessori Children’s House and School wants the exact same thing. 

Their teachers are highly experienced in child-rearing techniques and methodologies. We admire how quickly they respond to their students’ emotional and academic needs. 

It’s exactly what a teacher should be doing for a young child. It helps them feel safer and supported in their environment.

The teachers here are incredibly friendly and attentive. They have no trouble answering your questions about their programs and processes.

They’re also quite consistent with updating parents on the progress of their children. In our opinion, the school values parental participation in all the activities that they do. 

This is great as most parents also want nothing but to be involved in the development of their kids. 

Class sizes at this school are small, so you don’t have to worry about it affecting the quality of the education that your child gets. Prices are also incredibly affordable, making it a great option for parents who are on a tight budget. 

If you’re looking for ways to help your child build strong social skills, Alcuin School might have the solution you need. We’ve never seen a school more focused on community building than they are. 

They make sure that your child is properly settled on the campus. On top of that, their teachers teach students valuable lessons on how to create, maintain, and nurture friendships and connections with other people. 

Just as they are dedicated to building your child’s community skills, they’re also interested in making students more independent. 

Based on what we’ve seen from their curriculum, we can attest that they have activities that encourage both group and individual interests. 

Children need the opportunity and space to explore their interests and hobbies. This is what helps them become more independent individuals down the road. 

It also makes them feel more confident about themselves and their abilities. 

We appreciate how attentive their teachers are to the little ones. They make sure that everyone gets the same amount of attention and appreciation. 

On top of that, they help the students discover new things about themselves and the world around them through carefully designed activities and challenges. 

Just like most preschools of this caliber, the tuition fees here aren’t the friendliest to pockets. A single semester could cost around $17,000, so make sure you have enough set aside for your child’s enrollment.
