We love how simple their process is (pickup, air transport, and final drop-off ), so even first-time shippers can follow without confusion. They also sell flight tickets worldwide, which is convenient if you’re coordinating both travel and cargo. 

Customers often acknowledge how smooth their experience is, especially praising the team for staying responsive and keeping them updated from the moment the package is picked up to its arrival. 

Just note that their strongest lane is the USA-Nigeria corridor. While they do ship globally, the system is designed around that route, so they might not be ideal for multi-country logistics or sudden high-volume needs.

Once you book, the timelines start moving fast. Air cargo to Africa often arrives in 3-5 business days, while containers and RORO usually make it in 7-10. 

Building on that efficiency, clients frequently mention that the company’s rates are noticeably more reasonable compared to major logistics brands, especially for heavy or high-volume shipments. 

However, there’s one thing you should know: the customer service can lag during peak season. They do reply, but without 24/7 assistance, urgent concerns may take longer to address.

From what we’ve seen, the company manages a wide range of truckload shipments, from consumer goods to specialized equipment, with options for expedited or temperature-controlled transit. 

We also find their trailer-drop program useful, as it helps drivers stay productive and maintain steady cargo flow. When volumes spike or gaps appear in the schedule, their brokerage team provides additional support to prevent delays. 

Just be aware that their digital infrastructure is still being upgraded, and the existing platforms may feel less intuitive than newer systems.

Typically, a dedicated team oversees each load from pickup to drop-off, which helps deliveries arrive promptly and in good condition—a reliability customers frequently praise. 

You can also count on them for support if anything comes up along the way. The staff is generally friendly and ready to answer questions about handling or progress. 

However, we’ve heard that customers felt SEFL’s digital tools aren’t as advanced as some of the bigger carriers. Tracking works, but dashboards aren’t real-time, and features like predictive analytics or integrated shipment management aren’t available. 

For more complex group consignments, this can make things a bit harder to monitor.
