It’s quite a nice foundation to start if you generally design any grooming facility around the utmost care and comfort of the dogs. We can clearly see this in Furry Tails’ case.

It has a wide variety of customizable grooming options, which is pretty good considering there are literally hundreds of dog breeds with different sets of characteristics.

This means that they must do a pretty good and accurate job of doing haircuts right? Well, we honestly think about 80 to 90 percent of the time at least.

Taking your dog to get a haircut exactly how you want it to be could be a hit or miss for some people.

Whether it’s half an inch of hair too short or even looking like a completely different dog afterward, Furry Tails seems to not be immune to this sort of thing.

This is why it’s important to really communicate well with any shop and give them as many details as you want. You’re paying for their best service, after all.

Furry Tails’ facilities are kept relatively clean and its rubber flooring is actually quite a nice touch for the comfort and safety of the dogs.

Being quite a popular place to go to for grooming, you can expect to see a relatively high volume of other dogs in this place.

This is probably the reason why it has decided to go for a “cage-free” approach in its facilities. That means more room for furry friends with furry tails.

But we also realize that this whole “cage-free” thing could be a double-edged sword, depending on the situation.

Some people prefer their dogs caged to keep them safe, while others do appreciate their dogs having the freedom to play with others.

Regardless of the preference, we think it’s important for any dog service to cater to every unique dog and its owner.

As its name suggests, Pet Grooming and More does a whole lot more than just your typical set of grooming services.

Sure, its list includes specific grooming options for other pets, unsurprisingly, but even the number of dog-related services is already impressive, to say the least.

With that many services, it makes sense that it also has multiple grooming salons at its disposal. And such facilities are equipped with a good amount of modern grooming technology.

What’s even better is that some of these salons can be personally rented out by any dog owner if they wish to experience grooming their dogs themselves.

We think it can definitely be a cool experience for any “man’s best friend”. Not only does your dog get groomed by the most familiar face that it loves, but you also get to try out pretty high-tech gadgets for grooming.

Of course, if you’re not really that well-versed with grooming, you could always go the usual route and let the pros do the job for you.

The staff is notably good at haircuts thanks to their stellar attention to detail. Whether big or small, they seem to do a nice job at keeping any dog safe and secure while in the middle of a grooming session.

This is, of course, if they don’t have a tendency to bite.

We notice that this is quite the hurdle to overcome for the staff of Pet Grooming and More, as it is both a hassle and a safety hazard for the staff and even the dog.

If you come into the shop knowing full well that your dog tends to bite other people, then maybe it could’ve been a lot better to mention that over the phone.

Otherwise, it is going to be a safety hazard especially given this shop’s seemingly limited experience with dog aggression.

And also, it’s a bit more expensive with its options compared to other shops. So it may not be the best choice at all if you’ve already got an aggressive dog, to begin with.

Kontota Grooming is unique in the sense that you’re not exactly walking into a shop. But rather, it brings its services right to your front door.

Being a mobile groomer, Kontota has found a way to turn messy mud rollers into clean and pristine pooches on the go.

Though having only a van instead of a typical shop, you’ll be surprised to find a myriad of equipment and features that are ready to be used on the dot.

Because of the nature of its services, you naturally need to check its availability, of course.

While we can’t exactly tell how many vans it has, it’s nice that its booking service is pretty easy to use in setting up appointments.

We think this combination of mobility and impressive show of facilities is a big reason why Kontota is regarded as one of the most convenient dog groomers around.

Of course, the people inside the van are not there just to flex their shiny gadgets. They’re a significantly competent bunch that’s trained in giving quality grooming services.

They’re overall great in the haircutting and bathing department, and even give updates throughout the entire process.

Though they can just be at your front door, it’s nice that the staff members demonstrate this kind of transparency in case you need to quickly run an errand.

To add even more transparency, though, we personally need to note some of Kontota’s downsides.

For one, not every staff gives the same perfect quality that a lot of people love. Some of them are not even that good at maintaining the dog’s safety and comfort.

Secondly, Kontota’s services will cost you a little bit more than regular shop groomers.

Though we’re not surprised since they do make the effort to personally travel to every single location, it’s up to the dog owner to decide if its convenience still justifies the price.

Fuzzy Tails Grooming calls itself a “boutique” that’s out to provide its best grooming services for literally any dog breed.

That means you don’t need to worry about it if your dog’s breed isn’t exactly known for having the fuzziest of tails. You’ll be accepted all the same, regardless.

Seriously speaking, we can say it has got a considerable amount of experience in the grooming industry if it can groom just about any size, shape, or form of dog.

This even includes dogs with special needs, senior dogs, and even service dogs. It’s quite the show of versatility indeed.

While other shops seem to struggle with naughty canines, it seems to not be that big of a problem for Fuzzy Tails’ case.

Being able to handle dogs that are notorious for misbehaving is definitely another testament to its overall skillfulness.

It definitely shows in the friendliness and accommodating nature of the owner and staff that you are handing your dog over to cool-headed people.

It makes sense that they would be that way, considering they’ve already got over 20 years of experience in providing dog grooming services.

To add to that, you don’t even need to hurt your wallet while availing of this shop’s considerably cheaper services.

Fuzzy Tails presents a really promising package as a dog groomer, but it’s sadly not without its own imperfections as well.

Things to improve on would be to list the grooming features a lot more. We think not everyone 

knows what they would specifically get from a “full-service” dog grooming for 50 bucks.

Another one is that it’s definitely essential to train staff to be more consistent in the quality of service that they provide.

Their inconsistencies sometimes make it hard to believe that they’ve got over 20 years of experience. It’s either that or maybe some staff don’t have that much experience at all.

David’s Pet Grooming makes its variety of grooming features available in every single grooming session for both the biggest of canines to the tiniest of pups.

Whether it’s bathing or nail trimming, all sessions from David’s simply do a thorough job of making each dog look the best.

David’s sessions even make your dog smell the best, in our opinion. He’s got an array of shampoos to choose from that all smell great.

In fact, your dog will smell so good that you’d probably feel it a shame to make them play in the backyard and excavate bones again.

We thought it was a great bonus when we found out that David offers free nail trims every Thursday that you don’t even need to set an appointment for.

Whether these are perfect trims every single time is another story. 

But from what we’ve heard, there are considerably a lot more people that appreciated the free nail trimming as compared to those that were dissatisfied.

With that, we think the free nail trimming sessions are still worth a try. Not a lot of shops generally provide such freebies anyway.

Even for the rest of David’s services that are not free, we can say that they still have pretty reasonable pricing.

It’s also good to hear that such services are done in a quick but efficient manner. This perfectly strikes the balance between speed and quality.

Though commonly just like any kind of shop, not every staff is as consistent in giving quick and efficient grooming sessions.

Some of David’s staff take way too long grooming that it makes the dogs uncomfortable.

To make matters worse, lengthy sessions like that don’t even guarantee a spotless performance.

We certainly hope that such staff is trained more in giving the absolute best quality grooming that David himself is seemingly known for.

Urban Dogg Dallas is a facility that is founded and operated by pet groomers who are well-connected with the community and share the same passion when it comes to making sure that clients’  beloved dogs are groomed for sustainable health and well-rounded results afterward as well.

We like that their groomers have diverse experience in handling different dog breeds may be small or big in nature so that clients can be ensured that they know how to properly handle and groom each one to promote overall health.

Furthermore, they also offer a wide plethora of additional services that clients can choose to add at their own discretion to better customize and tailor to the preferences and particular needs of the clients’ dogs.

Note though that even if rates of their services are stated on their website, additional fees may apply at the discretion of the groomers once the said procedure is done.
