Pros
- Compassionate
- Committed to helping
- Effective sessions
- Flexible schedule
Cons
- A tad expensive
Dayna L. Fuchs is one of the most reputable psychologists in Dallas. She’s well known for her commitment to helping others get better, as well as her effective therapy sessions.
We had the chance to talk to a handful of Dr. Fuchs’ patients to get a better feel for her methods. All of them mentioned that she has a way of getting you to open up without feeling judged, in large part thanks to her ability to simply sit back and listen.
The ability to listen may seem like a forefront skill for a psychologist, but there’s an authentic feeling when you’re working with Dr. Fuchs that’s hard to find elsewhere. Her commitment to helping others is as genuine as it gets.
If you combine her genuineness and her listening skills, it makes for effective sessions. Patients reportedly started feeling more positive after three to four months of seeing Dr. Fuch, which goes to show how remarkable her work is.
Lastly, we like the flexibility of her schedule and the fact that her hours are long. This makes it so she can tend to different patients each day or even extend briefly for those that need it most.
The only downside we noticed when it comes to her work is the steep price of admission. Of course, the effectiveness of her sessions more than makes up for the expensive rate.

Pros
- Compassionate to his patients
- Committed to helping others
- Effective sessions
- Affordable rates
Cons
- Relatively shorter hours
Finding the right psychologists can get tricky. Certain criteria must be met, but the most important one is comfort.
You should feel at ease and comfortable enough to share whatever it is you’re going through. With that said, Dr. Stuart N. Robinson is one of the best in the business as he’s done a remarkable job getting patients to open up about their struggles.
What differentiates Dr. Robinson from his peers is his approach to therapy. While others may sit back and listen to their patients, he tends to be a bit more hands-on, meaning he gives feedback as you go.
This approach allows Dr. Robinson and his patients to attack the root cause of the problem. One of his former patients mentioned the process greatly helped them better understand their situation and why they’re feeling the way they do.
Of course, all of this stems from the fact that Dr. Robinson is committed to helping others. Combine that with his experience and knowledge, and it makes for one of the most formidable psychologists around.
One thing we dislike about his services, however, is his relatively short hours. And since his schedule is packed, there’s really no room to extend sessions.
4. Dallas CBT

Pros
- Compassionate team of psychologists
- Effective sessions
- Committed to helping
- Easy to book appointments
- Relatively inexpensive
Cons
- Tons of patients
Dallas CBT is an outpatient therapy and assessment clinic specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) that helps hundreds of patients weekly. This clinic has a unique and effective approach that allows its experts to get desirable results.
First off, we’re big fans of the clinic’s team of expert psychologists. Their cumulative experience and different fields of expertise allow for versatile and immersive sessions that cater to each patient’s needs.
The clinic’s evidence-based approach allows its psychologists to identify and change thought and behavior patterns that fuel negative emotions. Compared to the usual talk therapies, this allows for an active and solution-focused session.
We’re also giving props to how easy it is to book appointments. This may very well be due to the fact that the clinic has a team of psychologists.
Nonetheless, it’s convenient for anyone having a hard time fitting sessions into their schedules.
Lastly, the rates here are relatively inexpensive compared to others. However, it does depend on how many sessions you want and which psychologists you want to work with.
It’s nitpicking, but the only downside we saw was the number of patients the clinic has, which means it’s likely your sessions won’t extend even for a couple of minutes.

Pros
- Compassionate
- Committed to helping
- Easy to book appointments
- Inexpensive rates
Cons
- Varying results
Dr. Stephanie Swales is one of the most approachable and committed psychologists we’ve ever met. She radiates a genuine aura that draws in hundreds of patients each month.
In our current world, it’s hard to find someone that truly cares about your well-being. As we mentioned, however, there’s something about Dr. Swales that allows patients to open up about their experiences at a moment’s notice.
She breaks down your wall and tries to genuinely know you. One patient told us that it was uncomfortable at first, but after a couple of minutes, it felt like a huge burden was lifted off their shoulders.
Dr. Swales’ availability is also one of the reasons why her services are popular. She’ll typically reply to your query within a couple of hours, even on her busiest day – talk about commitment!
Lastly, her rates are budget-friendly, as she tries to shatter the stigma that therapy is expensive.
One downside we noticed when talking to her former patients, however, is that the result of the sessions varies. Most of them mentioned feeling like they have a new lease on life, while some are still struggling with the same issues.
Overall, we recommend giving Dr. Swales a call. She’s given so much to the community, and she can definitely help you.

Cost(A higher score means better value) | 4.75/5 |
Pros
- Compassionate and friendly
- Willing to help
- Highly-effective
- Inexpensive rates
Cons
- Packed schedule and short hours
Estee Marchesani of Thrive Therapy Dallas is one of the most experienced psychologists around. Having worked in the industry for decades, Dr. Marchesani has shown compassion and commitment to helping those that are struggling.
One thing we love about her work is the throwback approach to her sessions. She’ll sit back and let her patients do the talking while she comes up with the appropriate course of action.
This approach is comparable to solving puzzles, as you try to gather the pieces first before attacking the issue. We talked to one of her former patients who praised the method because it allowed them to learn about issues that were not visible at first.
As far as her rates go, it’s relatively inexpensive and reasonable. It will depend entirely on how long your sessions go, however.
Lastly, we love how willing Dr. Marchesani is to help others, as some professionals in this line of work don’t have the same genuineness as her. It’s commendable how much she’s given back to the community, one patient at a time!
The only downside we could say about her services is that the hours are quite short. Working for only three days a week, it gets difficult to fit in your sessions unless you book in advance.
