Mic Drop was created by partners Hillary and Casey, with a goal of creating a comedy club that can offer a night full of laughs.

The show lineup is as diverse as it gets. One night, you might be catching NY comic Troy Bond or Netflix’s Liza Treyger—the next, you could be listening to indie musician Skrizzly Adams or psychic medium Anne Marie.

We like that the showrooms are designed so that every view is solid, literally not a single bad seat in the house, and they even offer handicap seating. The only downside is that there’s a small chance you might be sat with another group or couple.

Doors open an hour before the show, which gives you plenty of time to grab a cocktail at their beautiful bar or dine on the patio. As for food, they have vegan and gluten-free options, so everyone’s covered.

TK’s Comedy is owned by TK and his wife, Kara, who are both stand-up comedians. Today, it’s known as a one-stop shop destination, offering stand-up shows, a secret speakeasy, and Instagram-worthy event spaces.

It’s easy to check out their comedy lineup and make reservations online. And if you’re planning to eat during the show, their VIP seating offers extra table space.

You could also hang out at their waterfront patio before or after the show. Not only does it offer gorgeous views, but there’s a statement light fixture that turns on after dark.

After the comedy shows (Thursday through Sunday), their underground speakeasy opens up, serving craft cocktails. It offers live music on Fridays and Saturdays, too.

It’s pretty cool that this place seems to have it all, but just a heads up—some have complained that the space can be a bit too loud.

What started as four friends with a dream, a passion for comedy, and $700 in their pockets has grown into Four Day Weekend, a famous improv troupe and comedy bar.

Impressively, they’ve been honored as Fort Worth’s Greatest Ambassadors by the Mayor. They even performed for two U.S. presidents and delivered a keynote address to the United States Congress, so you know these guys are heavy hitters.

Tickets for their Friday and Saturday shows can easily be snagged online. And if you’re planning a surprise for a friend, they offer gift cards as well.

Beyond comedy shows, you can hire them at your next corporate event. They can host custom shows, workshops, professional development training, keynote speeches—you name it.

Stomping Ground Comedy Theater is the city’s only non-profit theater dedicated entirely to comedy. This spot is the place to go for stand-up, improv, and scripted shows.

We like that it’s a BYOB venue, which makes for a budget-friendly night out. And if you forget, no worries—they sell snacks like chips and candy, plus drinks such as water, soda, and alcoholic beverages.

Unlike other comedy clubs that have age restrictions, they offer family-friendly activities and entertainment, with clear show ratings. These include E for Everyone, T for Teen, and M for Mature.

You can also book a private comedy show for friends, family, or coworkers, for a unique and enjoyable party.

Note that since it’s a non-profit club, the theater may not be as glitzy or polished as other comedy club stages.
