Alamo Termite & Pest Control is a locally-owned family business that opened its doors in 1993. Throughout the years, they’ve grown to serve an extensive network of cities across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

They’re certified Sentricon specialists, specifically using Recruit termite bait stations that are designed to eliminate colonies at their source, including the queen.

Believing that prevention is better than cure, they also offer pre- and post-construction preventive treatments.

For pre-construction, they build a chemical barrier in the soil before foundations are poured. Post-construction treatment addresses existing infestations by drilling into floors and treating soil around the foundation.

But for us, what makes them stand out is their 24/7 operation. This is extremely helpful to those who need urgent action for their home’s termite issues.

If there’s one area for improvement, it would be appointment scheduling. Some previous clients reported being given 12-hour windows without updates on the technician’s actual arrival time. This made it difficult for homeowners to prepare themselves and their properties adequately.

Clients commended the firm for providing 65% discount on the initial treatment and $25 off for every maintenance session when they avail a year-round plan online.

They use both Termidor liquid treatment and Sentricon’s Always Active baiting system. The team will assess the severity of the infestation on your property before recommending the best solution.

For the liquid treatment, their technicians apply Termidor in the soil around the perimeter of your property to form a continuous barrier of protection. The eco-friendly baiting system then eradicates entire colonies by preventing them from molting.

What we love is that both methods come with a one-year warranty, providing you peace of mind with year-round support.

Nevertheless, every company has its flaws, and theirs is customer service. Several clients were disappointed in the firm for not responding to emails.

When it comes to scheduling, clients appreciate the company for their same-day service. If you’re unlucky, they can schedule a session the next day.
