One of my favorite spots is the AT&T Experience Store. It’s like a candy store for tech enthusiasts, with everything from smartphones and tablets to smartwatches and gadgets. 

It even has virtual reality and augmented reality demos that are incredibly fun to try out. 

But it’s not just about the latest technology. The Foundry Innovation Center is a place where entrepreneurs and developers can collaborate and create. 

It’s exciting to see such a space in our city that fosters innovation and creativity. 

And let’s not forget about the food and beverage options. There’s something for everyone, from casual cafes to upscale restaurants and bars. 

I highly recommend trying out the artisanal pizzas at Pizzario or grabbing a cocktail at the Watering Hole. 

One of the best parts of the AT&T Discovery District is the outdoor screen. It’s huge and located in the Plaza, making it the perfect gathering spot for locals and visitors alike. 

I’ve caught a few sports games and movies under the stars and it’s an experience I won’t forget. 

But what sets this district apart is the green spaces. It’s a breath of fresh air in the midst of the city. 

The landscaping is beautiful and the seating areas are comfortable, making it a great spot to relax or meet with friends. 

I realized that after I explored this place, the AT&T Discovery District is a gem in our city. It’s a testament to the innovation and creativity that Dallas has to offer.

AT&T Discovery District was officially built in 2020. 

It took several years to complete the 37-acre complex, which includes four main buildings connected by bridges and walkways, an outdoor park area, and interactive exhibits showcasing the latest advancements in technology. 

Is AT&T Discovery District free?

Yes, the AT&T Discovery District is completely free to visit and explore its various attractions and features. 

Visitors can take a stroll through the beautiful parks and public spaces, or they can check out some of the interactive exhibits and displays.

How big is the AT&T Discovery District?

The AT&T Discovery District spans around 37 acres, making it a massive addition to the city’s landscape. It is home to several buildings and outdoor spaces that are designed to encourage collaboration, innovation, and community.

I can tell you firsthand that the AT&T Discovery District is a must-visit destination in our city. This vibrant hub of activity boasts almost three acres of outdoor space, including the impressive AT&T Discovery Plaza.

I’ve spent countless afternoons meeting friends for lunch at one of the many restaurants and cafes in the plaza, including the ever-popular Shake Shack outpost. 

And at night, the fountain transforms into a stunning projection screen, adding to the excitement of the already bustling atmosphere.

But it isn’t just about great food and entertainment. The immersive experience center, the AT&T Discovery Center, offers a firsthand look at the latest in telecommunications and entertainment technology. 

As someone who loves all things tech, I was blown away by the hands-on exhibits and interactive displays that showcase the power of innovation.

And let’s not forget about the other incredible facilities in the district, like the AT&T Learning Studio, which provides invaluable resources and support for educators and students. 

The AT&T Discovery District Garage is an innovative workspace that serves as a collaborative and creative environment for startups and entrepreneurs. 

The space has been transformed from a traditional parking facility into a modern, open-plan workspace that features state-of-the-art technology and amenities, such as high-speed internet, conference rooms, and event spaces. 

The Garage is an important part of the AT&T Discovery District, as it provides a supportive community for entrepreneurs and encourages the development of new ideas and technologies.

Things to Do at AT&T Discovery District 

AT&T Discovery District in downtown Dallas is a must-visit destination, with experiences for all: dine at top restaurants, admire public art, attend events, shop for unique gifts, and snap a photo with the iconic “AT&T” sign. 

Enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants. 

I can tell you that the AT&T Discovery District is a culinary hotspot that we shouldn’t miss. Whenever I visit, I make a beeline straight to SĒR Steak + Spirits for an unforgettable dining experience. 

The combination of perfectly cooked steak and a breathtaking view of the city skyline is unbeatable.

But if I’m in the mood for something more casual, I head over to Tacolingo for their mouth-watering tacos. As someone who’s tried many tacos in Dallas, I can honestly say that Tacolingo’s are some of the best around.

What I love about the AT&T Discovery District is the wide variety of dining options available. Whether I’m in the mood for something fancy or just a quick bite, there’s always something that satisfies my cravings. 

So, if you’re ever in Dallas, make sure to check out the culinary scene at the AT&T Discovery District.

One of the things that set the AT&T Discovery District apart is the unique and eye-catching public art installations. 

There’s this huge eyeball sculpture that’s always a crowd-pleaser, and a colorful mural by Jerod Davies that’s simply stunning.

I’ve had the pleasure of attending a live concert by The Texas Gentlemen at the district and it was an absolute blast! 

The energy was contagious and the music was top-notch. The atmosphere was electric and it was a great way to spend an evening with friends. 

It was a memorable experience that I’ll never forget. I highly recommend checking out the AT&T Discovery District for a fun-filled evening of entertainment if you’re a fan of live concerts. 

Shop for unique gifts.

If you’re looking for a unique souvenir or gift, the AT&T Discovery District has several shops and boutiques selling artisanal chocolates, handmade jewelry, and quirky greeting cards. 

Whenever I’m in the area, I always make a point to stop by Read Between The Lines. This charming stationery store offers an array of fun and witty cards and paper goods that make for the perfect gift or souvenir. 

Whether you’re looking for something to bring back home or simply browsing for yourself, this shop is a must-visit. And with so many other great shops in the district, you’re sure to find something that catches your eye.

Take a selfie with the “AT&T” sign. 

No visit to the AT&T Discovery District is complete without taking a selfie with the iconic “AT&T” sign. 

It’s kind of like a rite of passage for anyone who’s been to the area.

What I love most about this photo opportunity is how creative people get with their shots. Some people pose with the sign in the background while others use it as a prop in their photos. 

It’s a fun way to capture your visit to the district and show off its unique branding.

I highly recommend checking out The Exchange at the AT&T Discovery District for a fantastic dining experience. This modern restaurant offers a menu full of delicious New American cuisine that caters to all dietary needs.

The menu boasts a wide variety of traditional Mexican dishes, such as its mouth-watering tamales and flavorful enchiladas, all made with the freshest ingredients. 

But what really sets Meso Maya apart is its focus on cuisine inspired by the vibrant flavors of Mexico City. Trust me, its unique dishes are a must-try.

And let’s not forget about the drinks. Meso Maya serves up some of the best margaritas in town. 

They’re the perfect complement to any meal and are sure to satisfy your craving for a delicious cocktail.

And let’s not forget about its homemade guacamole, which is simply irresistible.

When you step into Miriam’s, you’ll immediately feel the warm and intimate ambiance created by the dim lighting and plush seating. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic date night or a cozy dinner with friends.

As the name suggests, Texas Spice specializes in traditional Texas-style cuisine. For those seeking a taste of Texas, head to this restaurant. 

The moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by the rustic and cozy atmosphere that perfectly captures the essence of Texas. The wooden accents and comfortable seating make you feel right at home.

When it comes to the food, Texas Spice offers a menu of classic Texan dishes, including mouth-watering chicken-fried steak and smoked brisket. The flavors are rich and savory and will leave you wanting more. 

And if you’re into drinks, it has an impressive selection of craft beers and cocktails that pair perfectly with the food.

If you’re looking for a casual spot to grab a drink and some snacks, Biergarten on Lamar is a perfect choice. This outdoor beer garden is one of my favorite spots to grab a drink and some tasty bites.

The atmosphere is always lively, with a great mix of locals and visitors enjoying the variety of local and international beers on offer. And let’s not forget the food! 

The German-inspired dishes like sausages and burgers are a must-try, and the pretzels are always a hit.

The outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying some fresh air and taking in the vibrant energy of the district. 

Can you drink at AT&T Discovery District? 

Drinking rules in AT&T Discovery District vary by location. Bars and restaurants serve alcohol, but public areas and parks prohibit it. 

Some events and activities also may have their own specific rules and regulations regarding alcohol consumption.

Regardless, I can tell you that the AT&T Discovery District is a great place to explore if you’re looking for a good drink. Whether you’re in the mood for a creative cocktail or a craft beer, there are plenty of options to choose from.

One of my favorite spots in the district is the Network Bar. It’s always buzzing with activity and the bartenders really know their stuff. 

I highly recommend trying one of the signature drinks – it always comes up with something new and exciting.

Another great option is the Four Corners Brewing Company. It has a huge selection of beers to choose from and the atmosphere is really laid-back and welcoming. 

It’s a great spot to hang out with friends and catch up over a cold one.

Just keep in mind that if you’re planning on enjoying a drink in one of the public spaces within the AT&T Discovery District, you’ll need to follow the rules and regulations. 

Klyde Warren Park, for example, doesn’t allow alcohol to be brought into the park and public consumption is strictly prohibited.

But don’t let that discourage you – there are still plenty of great options available. 

And if you’re planning on attending one of the district’s events or activities, be sure to check ahead of time to see if there are any specific rules regarding alcohol consumption.

For a more formal dining experience, there are plenty of restaurants in the area that offer delicious meals and impeccable service. 

Whether I’m in the mood for a juicy steak or a fresh seafood dish, I know I can find something to satisfy my cravings in the AT&T Discovery District.
