Ticket prices for the Dallas Museum of Illusions vary depending on age and other factors. An adult ticket costs $21, while children (ages 5-12) and students (with valid student ID) tickets cost $17. 

Children under 5 years old, seniors (ages 60+), and military personnel with valid IDs get free entry.

Where do you park at the Museum of Illusions in Dallas?

The Dallas Museum of Illusions is located at 701 Ross Avenue in downtown Dallas. 

It offers several parking options, including its own lot next to the entrance, a nearby parking garage at 717 Harwood Street, and the Elm Street and Akard Street Parking Garages.

I’ve visited the Museum of Illusions numerous times and parking has always been a bit tricky, especially on busy weekends. 

Luckily, the museum has its own parking lot right next to the entrance, but it can fill up quickly. That’s why I always make sure to arrive early to snag a spot.

If the museum’s lot is full, don’t worry, there are plenty of other options nearby. I usually park at the parking garage located at 717 Harwood Street, which is just a short walk away from the museum. 

It’s affordable and convenient, and I’ve never had any issues with it.

Other nearby parking garages, like the Elm Street Parking Garage and the Akard Street Parking Garage, are also great options and are just a five-minute walk away from the museum. Rates for these garages vary ($4 – $10), but they’re all reasonably priced.

When parking in downtown Dallas, it’s important to pay attention to the signs and avoid parking in spots designated for residents or businesses only. Many of the streets have metered parking with strict time limits, so be sure to read the signs carefully.

If you’re planning a trip to the Museum of Illusions, I recommend arriving early and planning ahead for parking. It can be a bit of a hassle, but with a little preparation, you can enjoy your visit without any parking-related stress.
