The 5 Best Naturopaths in Dallas You Shouldn’t Miss for Natural Healing

Quality of Service: We evaluated how thoroughly each naturopath assesses patient needs, the level of personalized care provided, and the overall professionalism of their practice.

Range of Services: We considered the range of treatments offered, including therapies, nutritional counseling, herbal medicine, and preventive care options.

Experience: We looked at each practitioner’s years in practice, certifications, and demonstrated expertise in naturopathic medicine.

Reputation: We verified patient feedback, testimonials, and community trust to determine their credibility and client satisfaction.

I’m a firm believer that almost all living things have natural self-healing capabilities.

When my dog Timmy had a long, open wound on his face from fighting another dog, I didn’t take my neighbor’s advice to apply Amoxicillin to it. Instead, I just cleaned it with water and a tissue twice. Guess what? It fully healed in just over a month!

The same applies to me. I love walking a lot. But there was a time when I constantly felt pain in the back of my right foot. When I consulted one of the city’s most trusted podiatrists, she recommended a powerful gel that provided significant relief.

Since then, I’ve chosen to recover from discomfort through non-invasive methods. Check out my top picks for the best naturopaths in Dallas who use highly effective natural approaches to treat and prevent illnesses.

Asteri Healing Arts is led by Dr. Nicole Shusterman, who serves as its sole practitioner. She earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the National University of Natural Medicine—one of only seven accredited naturopathic programs in North America.

She’s also certified in pharmacology by the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners. With this credential, we’re confident that she can better understand your medical history and work in an integrative manner to utilize conventional and natural medicine.

When it comes to her approach, she doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all solution. Her clients receive personalized treatment plans through recommendations for diet, lifestyle, herbs, homeopathy, nutritional supplements, and specialty testing.

She offers multiple functional tests to help identify the root causes of chronic symptoms and uncover imbalances that conventional tests might miss.

Patients appreciate the 30% discount on the initial consultation, which other doctors don’t offer. However, as a sole practitioner, Nicole can accept only a limited number of clients at a time.

Pros

  • 30% off for the initial consultation
  • Holds a doctorate in naturopathic medicine degree
  • Certified in pharmacology
  • Formulates personalized treatment plans
  • Has multiple functional testing

Cons

  • Limited availability

Kind, patient, and compassionate both as a human and as a health care professional

“Dr. Shusterman is so kind, patient, and compassionate both as a human and as a health care professional. She helped me treat a rash I developed from using over the counter deodorants/products with her own concoction of natural remedies. She made me feel very comfortable coming to her with intimate issues and I was completely healed after a solid 2 weeks!!! Never using that same over the counter deodorant again. Thanks so much for your help, Nicole!”

I walked out of there feeling very informed and  excited to start with naturopathic medicine

“Dr. Shusterman is so friendly, informative, and helpful. I have an autoimmune condition (multiple sclerosis) and acid reflux. She’s very knowledgeable. She sat down with me and went over my problem areas in detail and gave me great recommendations of different natural remedies I can try out and the reasons why each one would be helpful for my particular conditions. I walked out of there feeling very informed and  excited to start with naturopathic medicine. I strongly recommend her!”

K6 Wellness Center has been in the industry since 2006, combining practices as old as time with cutting-edge technology. The center’s practitioners, Sharon Krahn and Elena Bach, bring nearly three decades of combined experience.

They provide a wide range of naturopathic care, including exosomes, neural therapy, regenerative medicine, lymphatic drainage, and ozone therapy.

But for us, what makes them stand out is their use of innovative equipment, particularly the Rife machine. It generates mechanical vibrations that shatter viruses or cancer cells without destructive heat, making it a helpful device for chronic diseases.

For those who are highly health-conscious, keep in mind that some patients have reported staff without masks during their visits.

Pros

  • 20+ years in service
  • Has nearly 3 decades of combined experience
  • Offers a wide range of naturopathic care
  • Uses the Rife machine

Cons

  • Reports of staff not wearing masks

Within 20 minutes, the deep cough I had been fighting for over a week was relieved

“I have seen Sharon several times, benefitting from her amazing naturopathic care, which has improved health issues I was facing. Recent treatment with neural therapy had an immediate and amazing result…within 20 minutes, a deep cough I had been fighting for over a week, was relieved. It was both a relief and a blessing! Neural therapy with the addition of ozone has resulted in noticeable improvement in the appearance of scars left by surgical procedures. K6 Wellness is a peaceful and helpful part of my life!”

They truly support a healthy lifestyle and want everyone to achieve happiness within themselves

“K6 Wellness has saved my life and my moms. Sharon, Katie, Elena, and all other workers just add to the amazing aroma in this office. Going to appointments became such a great combination of feeling better and learning so much from all of the employees. They truly support a healthy lifestyle and want everyone to achieve happiness within themselves. These people became so much more than just a “doctors office “ to us. I will forever recommend this place to everyone i know that wants to get better.”

Health Blossoms was founded by Dr. Kathryn McKenzie, who holds a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine. She also earned a master’s degree in Acupuncture from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.

Her natural health care services are dedicated to women at every stage of life, from their first period to menopause and beyond.

She combines principles of traditional Chinese medicine and naturopathic medicine to help women improve their overall wellness.

We like the clinic’s naturopathic wellness program, which provides individualized, comprehensive health guidance over 12 months, including dietary and lifestyle protocols, herbal or supplement recommendations, and root-cause care planning.

This program makes them a great option if you want to feel better year-round, not just when there’s discomfort.

That said, patients hope the clinic will consider extending its operating hours.

  • Holds a doctorate in naturopathic medicine degree

Knowledgeable, compassionate, and holistic doctor

“I’ve been a patient of Dr. McKenzie for more than 15 years. She has helped me with not only improving but also understanding my menstrual cycle, balancing my mood, and improving digestion and bowel regularity. Optim8 Health & Wellness was established with Laura Kopec’s objective of bridging the gap between traditional diagnostics and integrative functional health.

We were impressed by her credentials. In addition to being a naturopathic doctor, she also holds several certifications in nutritional counseling, genetics and genomics, and board certification through The American Alternative Medical Association.

Her clinic’s 30-day custom health action plan provides a clear, written roadmap tailored to your condition. There’s no generic advice—from nutrition and lifestyle to targeted support.

Beyond their services, we appreciate that they accept same-day appointments, which is great if you need urgent help.

Their customer service needs improvement, though. Some clients said they don’t respond to emails.

Pros

  • Multi-certified practitioner
  • Offers a 30-day custom health action plan
  • Accepts same-day appointments

Cons

  • Reports of not responding to emails

Arlington Integrative Medical Associates’ mission hasn’t changed since its founding over 20 years ago: to provide accessible healthcare.

They have a wide selection of naturopathic services, including IV nutrition therapy, chronic disease reversal, functional medicine, and pain relief therapies.

What we like is that they offer wellness packages with personalized nutrition and lifestyle plans, as well as expert coaching and lab testing. These are more cost-effective than availing of their services individually.

Nevertheless, every business has its flaws, and theirs is customer service. Some patients we spoke to said that the clinic’s front desk staff can be very rude.

Pros

  • Over 20 years in the industry
  • Offers a wide range of naturopathic services
  • Has wellness packages

Cons

  • Reports of rude front desk staff

The staff are attentive and treat you like a friend

“Dr. Shabana Parvez at Arlington Integrative Medical Center is a hidden jewel in the DFW area. She is thorough and easy to talk to. This was my first visit and she is treating my pain from Lyme disease. They offer many options including IV, red light therapy, cupping, and many other techniques to help you heal in a more natural way. The staff are attentive and treat you like a friend. I have high hopes!”
