What we like most about this company is its experience under its belt. Its staff can repair appliances from various brands such as Electrolux, Samsung, Sanyo, Sharp, and Whirlpool, among many others.

Many of their clients noticed that their staff takes every job seriously regarding washing machine repairs. 

We also like their careful process during appointment bookings. The process starts with a free phone consultation to troubleshoot a list of possible problems with the washing machine. 

Then, if the repair staff can help it, they will try to guide customers on how to fix minor issues. Should the problem be a major one, management will schedule an appropriate date for a maintenance check. 

On the downside, Mr. Appliance does not have weekend schedules for maintenance.

C&W Appliance Service is one of Texas’ most reputable appliance service centers, with almost 60 years under its belt. It is also one of the biggest companies on this list as it has locations in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and Fort Worth. 

Regarding its washing machine repair services, we noted that C&W is a factory-certified service for four major brands, specifically Sub-Zero, Wolf, Cove, and Asko.

Another great thing that has caught our attention is the speed of its service. C&W Appliance Service guarantees a 2-hour service window for every client.

Not only that, before even repairing a washing machine, its service crew will give a detailed analysis of what the problem with the appliance is and how to fix it. We think this is an excellent show of transparency on the company’s part.

When it comes to its management, C&W Appliance Services has both strengths and weaknesses. Management can easily be reached through phone or email, whether about consultations or scheduling a repair service.

Otherwise, we think that because C&W is the only authorized partner for brands like Sub-Zero, getting a repair schedule can take a while, between 1-2 weeks of calling or sometimes even more. 

For over 40 years, the ASAP Appliance Service has been repairing appliances for households and local businesses across Dallas and Fort Worth. As its name suggests, ASAP Appliance Service is considered the city’s most responsive appliance repair service by many clients in the state.

We really like how efficient the company’s management is. For example, despite having many job orders, it can guide its service crew to ensure its clients get their appliances serviced as scheduled.

One thing we can say is a downside, however, is that the company’s over-the-phone consultations can be hit-or-miss. For example, some customers have had problems with management misdiagnosing a problem with a washing machine and being overcharged for a short repair.

Despite its shortcomings, ASAP Appliance Service is one of the few appliance repair services in Dallas that offers same-day repairs. 

Notably, many former clients we talked to have had their washing machines checked up within two hours of calling customer service.

Regardless, when servicing washing machines, its repair crew works very fast. Many customers have said that the company’s repair crew arrives early and can sometimes fix a problem within an hour.

However, note that same-day repairs will rarely be offered for washing machines that need their parts replaced. This is because the company needs to procure the parts first from the manufacturers themselves. 

We also like that ASAP Appliance Service is an accredited partner for many household appliance companies, including Samsung, LG, Thermador, Viking, and many more. Not only is their service fast, it is also cheaper. 

Finally, the company has many worthwhile promotions for new and old clients, from senior citizen and military discounts, to even promos for first-time clients. 

Asurion is the company to call for emergency repairs at any time of the week. Unlike the other repair services on this list, it is one of two washing machine repair services in Dallas that is open on weekends until 10pm. 

Regarding its repair services, Asurion also covers a lot of bases. For example, its staff can fix washing machines, refrigerators, and stoves and covers phones, laptops, video game consoles, and even smart home systems. 

Of course, as its washing machine repairs go, we found its service crew quite efficient. Once the customer has a schedule, the crew member in charge will call days ahead to get a broad understanding of what needs to be fixed.

We like how Asurion does this, as it keeps home visits short. And when it comes to the home visit itself, many customers we spoke to praise the staff for their mindfulness inside homes. 

It’s noteworthy that the service crew is instructed to cover their shoes with plastic wraps to not dirty the floors. They also wear masks and practice social distancing as it takes health and safety protocols very seriously. 

Finally, one of the highlights of Asurion’s services is its premier protection plan. The Asurion Protection+ guarantees a repair service within minutes for a low price of $34 a month, covering parts and appliance replacements.

One downside to this, however, is its expensive service fee outside of the monthly expenses. Regardless, this is great for emergencies like a stove not working right before an important dinner party.

If you’re ever in need of a general home improvement aside from a washing machine repair service, then Sears home service is just the right place. Not only does the company offer appliance repair, but it also provides cleaning services and handyman repairs.

We really like how Sears has stocked-up washing machine parts ready to be used for replacements. Furthermore, they use official parts from well-known washing machine brands like Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, and more.

When scheduling a maintenance visit, we found the process straightforward. 

First, the client must call customer service to book a free consultation to get an estimate and an understanding of the washing machine’s problem. The next step is for Sears to send expert handymen to your home. 

One thing we really like about its service is that its service crew will most likely arrive within the day or the next working day. In addition, the service crew will immediately do the repairs if the washing machine’s errors are fixable. 

Otherwise, should the washing machine need extra work or spare parts, the service crew will schedule another visit in about 1-2 business days. 

In general, many clients we spoke to have said that Sears’ service crew usually arrives on time and works within the schedule, sometimes even finishing early. We have, however, seen reviews online where technicians come in late.

This is probably due to the number of customers lined up per day. Regardless, Sears Home Services is an outstanding place for customers that need same-day repairs and other home improvement services.
