Cons

  • Expensive

The Dental House Uptown Dallas is a popular dental clinic among many residents.

They offer various professional dental services, from dental fillings to dental veneers. Plus, they have 15 years of industry experience under their belt.

We heard a lot of great things about the place during our surveys. Many clients especially appreciate them for their professional and kind staff.

So, we decided to pay them a visit and get a quick dental checkup.

We made our reservations on the phone and traveled there by car. The location was accessible enough and with good parking.

However, you’d have to walk some if you were traveling there by public transport.

The staff there was indeed professional and nice. They immediately pulled up our reservation and asked us to sit in the waiting room while they prepped the clinic.

The waiting room was comfortable and clean. Plus, they have a couple of books and magazines that you can busy yourself with while you wait.

Besides the clean waiting room, the dental clinic was also clean and organized. All of their equipment was up-to-date – and the hygienist who prepped us was very thorough and efficient.

Everyone paid extra attention to our comfort and safety, which we greatly appreciated.

Overall, their services were top-notch. The only thing that you need to watch out for is their prices.

If you have insurance, there shouldn’t be any concerns for you. However, if you’re paying out of pocket, it’s going to cost you a pretty penny.

You can always ask for a quote ahead of your visit,  so you don’t get surprised by your bill.

Pros

  • Free snacks and drinks
  • High-tech and upgraded clinic equipment
  • Professional staff
  • Clean and comfortable facilities

Cons

  • Expensive
  • Customer line always busy due to heavy influx of callers

The Dental Loft is what you’d get if you combined dental care with a chestful of diamonds. At least, that’s how it seemed during our visit to their facility.

Everything was pristinely clean and beautiful, from their tiled floors and white walls. If you didn’t read the sign outside the store site, you’d never guess it was a dental clinic.

We couldn’t make a reservation with them because their landline was impossible to get ahold of. So, we decided to drop by without one.

Luckily, they weren’t seeing that many patients that day and we were able to get a dental checkup and cleaning.

The receptionist that took our details was friendly enough. She asked us to fill out a form in the waiting area while they prepped the clinic for our session.

They had snacks, magazines, and books for patients to enjoy while they wait. There was also water in case anyone felt thirsty.

Inside the dental clinic, we were glad to see they had all the latest equipment available, including intra-oral cameras, low radiation digital x-rays, and many more.

Due to its location and facilities, it wasn’t a surprise to us that their services leaned more towards the expensive side.

It’s not a place we recommend you visit if you’re paying out of pocket. However, they do have multiple payment plans available so you can still get the services you need and pay the fee in increments.

If you have health insurance, it would be better if you charged your visit to them as opposed to your own finances.

Pros

  • Budget-friendly
  • Helpful and informative staff
  • Clean and well-equipped facilities

Cons

  • Limited insurance partners

If you’re looking for an affordable and comfortable dental clinic, then The Dentist Dallas is a great choice.

Why?

Based on our evaluation, their prices aren’t as high as the other providers on this list, despite providing nearly the same services (and at much the same quality).

They have over 10 years of industry experience under their belt. We take this as a sign of their dedication to their customers and their practice.

We visited the clinic to get a glimpse of what they had to offer.

We’re glad to say that their facilities are clean and that their staff, particularly their receptionist, were all so kind and helpful during our visit.

We appreciated that they let us ask all these questions about their offers and facilities. It made us feel welcome and confident that they’d do a great job if ever we did get their services.

The only downside we see to their services is that they take a limited number of insurance providers.

So, if you’re currently under any insurance policies, it’s best to call ahead of your visit to confirm if The Dentist accepts it.

Pros

  • Expert and precise dentists
  • Kind and helpful staff
  • Hi-tech equipment and tools
  • Clean and comfortable

Cons

  • Expensive
  • Hard to get on the phone

The first thing you need to know about Dallas Laser Dentistry is that their prices are no joke. A simple dental visit can cost you around $150.

And don’t even get us started talking about their dental whitening.

It took us a while to look past the costs and focus on the quality of their services. However, once we did, we understood why a lot of people preferred their services over others.

We visited the clinic without an appointment since we couldn’t get a hold of them on the phone. At the clinic, it took them a while to get to us, since there were several other patients waiting ahead of us.

The attendant there was kind and assisted us with filling out the necessary forms for our checkup. Luckily, they were able to squeeze us in for the afternoon, so we didn’t need to come the next day.

Once it was our turn, the attendant led us to the dental clinic and prepped us for our session. They were patient with our questions and answered us as best they could.

When the dentist got back from her break, we felt incredibly comfortable and ready for the procedure.

Although all we got was a simple cleaning, we were impressed by the precision and care the dentist showed. The procedure did not hurt at all, unlike our experience in the past.

Pros

  • Budget-friendly
  • Multiple payment plans
  • Expert and informative staff
  • Nifty entertainment system
  • High-tech equipment and tools

Cons

  • Unwanted SMS updates

Affordable and state-of-the-art are two words that don’t normally go together. However, we have no reservations about using them to describe W Dental.

We made our reservations through their email since we wanted to see how fast they’d respond. We had a schedule by the end of the day, which was the fastest confirmation we’d received EVER.

The location isn’t as accessible by public transportation. However, it’s walkable from the nearest bus stop.

Luckily, we had a car so we didn’t really experience much trouble in the transportation department.

The clinic waiting room was unlike anything we’d seen before. On top of the usual books and magazines, they also had a nifty entertainment system that could play music and movies while patients waited.

Everything was clean and gleamed as if newly polished. The staff was also very accommodating, assisting us with filling out our forms, answering our questions, and locating the restroom.

The dentist was kind and informative during our checkup. He was very thorough with the procedure and had no second thoughts about explaining what certain procedures were for.

Prices were relatively cheaper than most we’ve seen from other providers, which is a massive plus. They also have multiple payment plans that make it much easier for patients to pay their dues.

One thing that we don’t like about them is that they send you SMS updates very often. Everything from an invitation to revisit their clinic to news about equipment and services upgrades.

This can be incredibly annoying, especially if you’re someone who hates receiving unwanted notifications on their phone.
