And it wasn’t just the lights that were impressive — the Holiday village added an extra layer of fun with concessions and activities that made the experience even more memorable.
We sipped on hot cocoa and roasted marshmallows and enjoyed the festive atmosphere while taking in the stunning views.
But the best part was definitely driving on the actual speedway track itself. It felt like we were part of the action, and the excitement of being on the same track that legendary race car drivers have sped around only added to the thrill of the experience.
Prairie Lights
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Prairie Lights in Grand Prairie, and I have to say it exceeded all my expectations.

Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington is hands down one of the best walk-through shows I’ve ever experienced. As soon as I walked into the park during the holiday season, I was suddenly taken to a fantastic and enchanting place.
The millions of twinkling lights and beautifully decorated holiday-themed areas created a festive and enchanting atmosphere.
One of the things that impressed me the most about Holiday in the Park was the attention to detail. Everywhere I turned, there was something new and exciting to see.
From the stunning 60-foot Christmas tree and captivating light display in the “Majestic Holiday Tree Light Show” to the singing and dancing elves in “A Jolly Holiday,” the live entertainment was top-notch.
But what really stood out to me was the Snow Hill, a snow-tubing experience that was so much fun for all ages.
My family and I had a blast racing down the hill and laughing together. It was a truly unforgettable experience.
Dallas Zoo Lights
