Hanby Insurance has been in the insurance brokerage game since 1940, so yeah, they’ve been doing this for a minute. 

They cover all the usual suspects—home, auto, business—but we appreciate the unique offerings they have, such as pet insurance. It’s basically a lifesaver if your pet gets into some mischief (or worse, a health scare).

If you’re in the auto industry, go for their garage dealer insurance. It’s designed to protect businesses from financial headaches caused by vehicle damage or theft.

As a bonus, they don’t just lock you in one insurance company—they start with at least 10 insurance carriers, and then work their way down to find the best coverage for you.

Sadly, we heard about some reps not returning calls to clients. This could definitely be a sore point, especially if you need a quick response.

Multiple Insurance Solutions’ name is spot on—they’re an independent broker that represents over 20 insurance carriers. In addition to Texas, they also serve Colorado, Arkansas, Tennessee, and New Mexico.

A cool offering is their Coastal Wind & Hail insurance. Designed for those who live near the coast or in high-risk areas, it protects your property from damage caused by strong winds and hail storms.

They also offer coverage for your boats, RVs, and ATVs—basically, all the fun stuff. Rest easy knowing that your favorite toys are protected.

Other insurance types include home, business, auto, flood, and renters. Granted, their offerings are comparatively fewer compared to other brokers.

Now, if you need more than one policy type, they have a Bundle and Save deal, where you can combine various insurance policies and save up 10% to 25%.

With over 150 years of collective experience, Tower Street Insurance has been on track in upholding its mission—to deliver tailored coverage for every home and business.

We like that instead of working with only 10 or 20, they carry a total of over 100 carriers—this includes big names like AIG, Goldleaf, Chubb, and Texas Mutual. 

Their forte is actually Commercial Insurance, which covers more business areas compared to other agencies. A unique example is Professional Liability Insurance, which shields a company from cyber, foreign, liquor, errors, and pollution liability.

Personal insurance is offered as well, with a special Valuables policy to protect your precious baubles like Rolex watches, Tiffany jewelry, rare art pieces—you get the idea.

Here’s the catch though—they’re definitely not cheap, due to their high level of customization and access to elite carriers.

For over 25 years, The Phoenix Insurance has been working towards one goal: to make sure you feel confident about your coverage. 

We think gearheads would appreciate their comprehensive Auto Insurance offerings. These are categorized by make (e.g. BMW, Ferrari, Jeep, etc.) and by model (e.g. antique, modified, vintage, etc.).

As for personal insurance, they offer Condo Insurance, focusing more on the unique aspects and challenges of living in a condominium.

And for commercial, Texas Liquor Store Insurance is a highlight. It protects against liability, property damage, and lawsuits, for a smooth-running business.

As a bonus, they guide clients throughout the entire claims process, and they work with their insurance carriers to elicit fair resolutions quickly.

That said, keep in mind that they’re not the cheapest option out there.

C1 Insurance Group has been around for 12 years and is licensed in 37 states, so it’s safe to say they’ve been around the block a few times. In fact, C1 stands for “Clients First,” which basically sums up their approach.

We’re impressed with their High Net Worth Insurance, which not all insurance brokers offer. This typically covers multiple homes, and some pretty unique protections like kidnap and ransom coverage, traveling abroad, and many more.

And as an add-on to your basic Commercial Insurance, they offer a Commercial Umbrella Insurance. Meaning, if a major claim goes over the payout limit, this kicks in.

You can even save money (10% to 25%) on their bundled insurance options.

One downside—we heard about administrative mistakes that caused clients to have higher premiums.
